My name is Laura Horne and I love to blog. I use this blog as my
journal, so I try my hardest to be real. Most of my free time is spent
turning our house into a home, so I find myself drawn to interior
design, decorating, and crafting.
I
have a husband named Eric, who is awesome. He is very handy and builds
me beautiful things. Our kids are obsessed with him, and rightly so,
he is a great Dad. We were married in the Portland, Oregon LDS Temple
in November 2005 and look forward to being together forever. We like to
spend our time together on home improvement projects and playing with
our kids. Eric is an occasional guest poster.
Our
oldest child is Amos. He is named after his great-grandfather, Amos
Horne, III. Amos is a wild monkey who likes trucks, tormenting his
little sister, Maggie, kissing his baby sister, Audrey, watching Little
Einsteins and Toy Story, coloring, going to the library, eating treats,
and sleeping in Momma and Dada's bed. He is full of energy and keeps us
on our toes.
Maggie
is the middle child (for the time being). She is named after two of
her great-grandmothers and her Aunt Meg (Shaver). Maggie is a sweetie
who likes bread, dressing herself, playing with Amos, and wandering
around aimlessly. Maggie is about as easy-going as toddlers come.
Audrey
is our newest addition, and boy, do we love having her around! She is
so sweet and special. I could cuddle with her all day long. For now,
her only interests are eating and sleeping =) I am already wishing
she'd quit growing so fast.
