The Lost August: Swim Lessons Round 2

Technically, it was the last week of July and the first week of August, but, well, you know.  With all of the kids doing so well in swim lessons and Audrey finishing just on the brink of being able to swim, I thought I owed it to us to try just a little bit more.  The kids loved the lessons and the exercise helped with their energy levels ;)

If nothing else came from these two weeks, Amos got to do the slide THREE times.  Having been to lessons before, we know the kids got to do the slide on the very last day should they pass their swim test.  I've never seen them get to go more than once, but Amos managed three squealing trips.  He was happy.

Audrey did not come away swimming.  The only comment on her end of session report card: "SO close!"  I had hopes it might still click since we were headed to my parents' for lots of pool time the next week, but alas, Audrey is enrolled in yet another session of swim lessons this fall.

Mags continued to be awesome.  Her only excitement was when she got a bloody nose and they nearly had to evacuate the pool.  Gosh, that would have been embarrassing.

Wardie continued to be a great spectator.  Thanks to his stroller's five point harness, that is.

I am so very grateful we had such a fun (and important) activity to keep us busy for a couple weeks.

What is it about kids and goggles that cracks me up?
