Summer trip to Grammy and Grampy's

Right after the Wreck-It Wardie party, the kids and I loaded up and headed to Idaho for a week at Grammy and Grampy's house.  The kids were probably equally as excited for Idaho as they had been for the party.  Amos was so stoked to show off his new swimming skills.

The kids swam, and swam, and swam.  We tried to plan activities for them, but they were happy to just swim.  It made for some relaxing days by the pool.

Other adventures included: the Boise aquarium, getting my hair done, school supply shopping at Walmart (Walmart just isn't the same in Washington), and bike riding.

The very best part of our trip was when Eric surprised us by flying in for the weekend!  We missed him a lot, and we were so happy to see him.  Everything is better with Dada around.

For some reason, we waited until the last night to start going through our old toys that Grammy had been saving over the years.  It was really fun to pull them out and look at them, but I am pretty sure we did more damage than good when it came to "de-cluttering."

It was only our second trip to Idaho since Grammy and Grampy got back from their mission, and it already feels like they were never gone.  We all picked up right where we left off.  I have amazing memories of our family trips to see my grandparents in the summer, and I hope our kids will too.  So far, so good.
