Disney's Hollywood Studios
Another day, another park. Although I had been to Disney's Hollywood Studios before, it was back when it was still MGM. I also realized that most of my supposed memories from MGM were from Universal Studios...whoops. MGM was probably the least spectacular of all the parks, but there were still little things here and there that made it worth it. At least once.
The best ride in all of the Disney World parks, to us, was the Toy Story ride at Hollywood Studios. Unfortunately, we didn't know it until it was too late and the wait was 70 minutes. We used fast passes to go on it once, and everyone loved it. If you ever go to Hollywood Studios, beeline for the Toy Story ride, get a fast pass, and then ride it as much as you can before the wait grows astronomical.
Some of the other things at the park haven't changed one bit...the park seemed really dated and old. The backlot tour and stunt show were just as I remembered them. Although the stunt show did add a cameo from Lightning McQueen and now I had my very own enthused 5 year old with me...
The "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" play area was just as I remembered it too...
Fantasmic was totally awesome to me, but Eric hated it. Again, maybe something to do once.
