After we left Barcelo, we went to Grammy and Grampy's home within the Temple compound of the Santo Domingo Temple. They live in an apartment on the 3rd floor of a 4 story building. The 4th floor is the MTC. There are more apartments and "guest" lodging (for those attending the temple) on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The first floor had a cafeteria, lobby, etc. We stayed on the 2nd floor. Our room was very nice, much like a dorm room. We had a great bathroom and bunk beds. The kids were so excited for the bunk beds, we played this bizarre game of musical beds all the nights we were there.

An absolutely amazing place to live. It sometimes seems like my Dad posts pictures of the Temple from every angle, all different lighting, etc. I understand why now...it never grows old and it is incredible every time you look at it. I love the cemetery and all, but I trade views in a heartbeat.
Attached to my parents' apartment is the clinic. There they give lots of vaccinations, consultations, and anything else the missionaries might need health-wise.
Elder and Sister Shaver caring for the injured (who shall remain nameless, you know who you are):
Amos took this picture of my Dad at his desk, and I love it. My Dad worked hard taking care of the missionaries while we were there:
