I know I am always saying that life is crazy.  I stand corrected...I now know what crazy is, and it is now, not those other times.

A week ago I turned 28!  I was sorta've prepared for it since my 10 year high school reunion "save the date" arrived already =P  I can do simple math.  Eric is an expert at birthdays and this one was no exception.  I don't know if it's maturity or what, but I was all for simple this year.  Since my birthday was on Sunday, I actually got a three-day extravaganza, starting on Friday night.  We went to Hunger Games and Five Guys with some of my most favorite people.  Dave watched the kids and we stayed out so late!  It was great.

Saturday Eric let me sleep in, and then took the kids for a long adventure to the new City Creek shopping center in Salt Lake.  While they were there they picked out GREAT presents for me.  Maggie picked out the sparkliest bracelet I ever saw.  Audrey got me an iPad cover (she knew just the one I wanted, AMAZING!), and Amos got me a watch.  He liked the watch because it had a pink heart on it.  Eric got me a purse to match Auds' cover.

Although the presents themselves were great, having the kids give them to me was the best.  They were so excited.  Maggie insisted I wear her bracelet all the time for the next few days.

After presents, I headed out for the Young Women Broadcast.  It was a great night, with great talks, and great women.

Sunday was very low key with tons of church responsibilities, but the icing on the cake was literally the icing on the cake.  Eric and the kids made me a birthday cake, and again, the kids were so proud and excited.  They made it so special just by loving me.  And, Eric totally took one for the team and made me a funfetti cake even thought he HATES it.

Thanks Eric, Amos, Maggie, and Audrey!
