This story ends with a root canal

First, it snowed in EARLY October.

The kids loved it.  I quickly learned that when you're a parent you need to be prepared to drop everything if it snows.  I am already exhausted by the snow gear on/off routine.

Eric was out of town when the snow happened, so I took these pictures for him.  Kiddie pool still hanging off the deck, covered in snow, priceless.

The past two weeks have been crazy busy, with no sort of routine whatsoever.  There was the highlight of Monday night's Family Home Evening extravaganza.  The kids were awesome, so after my massage and their hike we took them to dinner.  They were so good at dinner we took them for ice cream.  It got so late Dave called to make sure we were ok.  Every once in a while you just need to have a party night =)  Even if you're old, and married, with little kids who have a bedtime.

Last week I had a teeth cleaning and was thrilled when I didn't have any cavities again (that's like two straight years now!).  It was all good until not long after my appt. I started getting the most wicked toothache EVER.  It hurt my tooth, my jaw, my head, and my ear.  I have never felt anything so miserable, and I've been in labor for 60 hours.  Anyway, last night as I was laying in bed resisting the urge to pull my own tooth out, I knew I had to get help.  I went into the dentist today, and it turned out a root canal was the solution to my problem.  Note to self: no cavities and a root canal is a dental fail.

That's all for now, so I'll leave you with this:

SHE. IS. AWESOME.
