Adjusting back to life at home has gotten really bad the last couple of days.
Yesterday, I put the girls down for a nap and told Amos it was his nap time too. He was putting up a bit of a fight, and I remembered I'd left some stuff in the car, so I told him it was nap time as soon as I got back with the stuff from the car. By the time I came back from the car (one minute later), Amos was asleep behind one of the armchairs in our living room. I left him there, and he slept for about an hour. Eventually, he woke up because he'd had an accident, which tends to happen when we don't have proper nap preparation. He came by and yelled at me not to help him and then he disappeared into his room. It got totally quiet and a quick investigation turned up this:
Fast forward to bed time, the kids would not settle down. They played for half an hour, coming out regularly to tell us they weren't tired. Then, all of a sudden, this:
And, finally, nap time today:
Maggie fell asleep like this, while Amos watched the iPad one foot away from her. Uh?
