Weird, it was a year ago to the day that I blogged about our 2010 garden. I don't know why, but planting a garden is so exciting to me. It's so fun to daydream about all of the yummy fruits and vegetables you're going to get to eat. Never mind that when it actually comes around to it, it always feels like so much work =(
We expanded a little this year to accommodate our new eating habits, so here's what we've got:
From top to bottom: zucchini, yellow squash, onions, 3 kinds of tomatoes, 2 boxes of beets (yay!), and our raspberries.
Close up of the raspberries, they're really hanging in there from last year:
Beets (nothing to see here yet) and more of the raspberries:
Zucchini, yellow squash, onions, tomatoes:
Off the top of my head, the tomatoes are beefsteak, grape, and a yellow heirloom:
Up near the house Eric planted two kinds of cantaloupe, two kinds of cucumbers, and spaghetti squash (my second favorite):
And, he added to my herb garden. Thyme and basil:
Really Eric has done all of the work in our gardens always, but I'll go ahead and give myself consultant credit. Thankfully he's a good sharer.
