Parade Day

Monday we carried on yet another Horne family 4th of July tradition-the parade in Provo.  Sunday Eric and Nan staked out the perfect spot for us, and early Monday morning Nan and Pop went to hold down the fort.  We had the perfect spot with plenty of space, shade, and good views.

The sun tried to cook us, but our little tree and ikea tent kept us in plenty of shade.

I absolutely love the parade, and my most favorite part is getting to stand and cheer for our soldiers and the families of fallen soldiers.  Eric's favorite part was the bagpipes, and I think Amos and Maggie liked the popsicles best.

Again, we were totally wiped out by the time it was over, but it was so worth it.
