I've been giggling about this story all weekend, so I thought I'd share...
Friday night we had a wild night at McDonald's. The place was was crazy packed, and Amos and Maggie were all over the
playplace. Maggie learned to come down from the top by herself, and she was having a great time running all around. Eric and I were enjoying some "quiet" time, but at one point I was sure I heard Maggie's cry. Eric got up to investigate, but there was
another little girl by us crying, so I thought it must be her. A few
minutes later I heard it again and really looked around. I could see a
kid under the bench of a booth behind us, and I assumed the kid
must belong to the family that was sitting there. About that time, I
realized that family was trying to figure out where the crying was coming from
too...SO, I got down on my hands and knees and it was Maggie, stuck
under a strangers table. Poor thing was devastated. She cuddled me the
rest of the time we were there. How she got under that table none of
us will ever know...the people sitting there didn't even notice.
