I am about 10% finished taking down my Christmas decorations, and I have fully committed to carrying out an idea I read somewhere out there in Blogland. I am hosting a 2010 Christmas Decoration Exchange to be held in November 2010. I realize this seems highly premature, but I thought I'd put it out there now, so as you're putting away your decorations this year, you can separate the things you'd like to donate. That way, when the time comes, there will be no excuses about having to go through all of your stuff.
The rules for the Christmas Decoration Exchange are simple:
1. I'll collect anything anyone is willing to donate
2. I'll host an afternoon/evening where we can have a get together and pick out anything we might be interested in--no money involved
3. Anything left over will be donated
I know we all have a few things that we just aren't using that someone else would love, so let's share. After all, sharing is caring. (This is going to help with the decluttering too!)
