Like any good 3-day weekend, this weekend started with a trip to Rod Works. I am on their email list, and I got an email announcing this deal:
Cute little iron pumpkins for $3.95 to $6.95. I showed just a little discipline and only got one. =) I had a really hard time though, because the store was filled with all new stuff. I wanted all of it. I am really having a hard time holding off on the Halloween decorating. I love this time of year when I get to decorate for Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and finally CHRISTMAS! Its ridiculous, its barely September and I can't wait for Christmas already.
I also had the chance this weekend to go to Real Deals to check it out. I've heard about it from various people, but I've never made the time to get there. Long story short, I was sent on an assignment for the Enrichment committee to get prizes for our Bake-off this week. The minute I walked in the door I fell in love all over again. I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a great gift (for yourselves!). The prices are G-R-E-A-T. In fact, they had some of the exact things as Rod Works at a lower price (no one tell on me for telling on Rod Works, tattle-telling isn't nice).
And finally, the last of the stuff for this weekend...today we walked into something we were totally unprepared for: the Labor Day sale at the Outlets at Park City. It was a zoo! I cannot believe how many people were there. Not an empty parking space in the joint. Anyway, Eric needed some new work clothes, so we found him a couple shirts and then got the heck out of dodge.
The best part of all this, we still have more time left this weekend. That's way better than stuff.
