Wednesday morning, Laura and the kids hopped a plane to Boise for a week with the Grandparents and left me home to finish our basement (and go to work). We've proven in the past, that 7 days without the kids is equal to a months worth of work in the basement with kids. So I've taken advantage of the solitude to knock out some work in our basement.
The weekend started with a trip to Home Depot during lunch. Fourteen hundred dollars later, I had a car full of gun stock oak and was ready to lay some flooring:
