Between all the other stuff this weekend I managed to finish something I've been working on for a while now--our family videos. Its crazy, but all those little video clips have just been piling up on my hard drive, and I didn't really have a plan for what to do with them. I am a fairly decent video editor, so I wasn't worried about that, it was mostly how to get them off the computer. I am old enough that all of my video creating experience involves VHS tapes, and I know that isn't the way to go these days. I have had terrible luck burning DVDs from my computer, and in fact, I lost our wedding video that way...but I knew I had to figure it out. Finally, this weekend, after some troubleshooting and learning new things, I got our family videos onto DVDs!
So, for the first time, Amos and Maggie debuted on the big screen:
I still think there has to be a better way, I am not sure what it is. Maybe one of those video cameras where you record right onto a dvd? I really like being able to easily upload our videos onto the computer though? I'm not going to lie, I miss VHS tapes...you just pop them in and press play.
