Taking Chance

I am going to put myself out there with this one, but I am going to recommend everyone watch Taking Chance sometime during this Memorial Day weekend. It airs on HBO on both Saturday and Sunday, so if you have HBO you're set. If you don't have HBO, get it from anywhere you can.

It is an awesome movie about those who fight and give their lives for our country, and it manages to stay pretty party neutral. It gives an incredible perspective to a side of the war that is happening, whether you agree with it or not. From the faq on IMDB.com: "The military offered advice and assistance, providing Taking Chance's film crew with a rarely viewed but painstakingly accurate account of the care and protocol bestowed upon the nation's fallen warriors."

It also stars Kevin Bacon in a role I've never really seen him play. It doesn't hurt that it was a Sundance movie too =) Anyway, I really don't think you'll regret it if you watch it.

I've been curious about that movie. I'll have to put it on my Netflix list. Thanks for the review!
