It Has Happened.

Amos climbed out of his crib today. I have no idea how he did it, but when I went to get him after his nap, he was a free bird running around his room. I knew before I opened the bedroom door that he must be free, because I could hear his drawers opening and shutting, and as you can see, there is no way he could reach them from his crib. There was plenty of evidence that he had been free for a while (i.e. all of that stuff was put away when I put him down for his nap):

He even managed to pull the drawer front off the chest of drawers???:

I love this little pile of blocks, the one sign of order in all this chaos:

If you're wondering how I missed the noise of all this destruction, I am too.

After we cleaned his room, I tried to convince Amos to go out and play in the rain, but he wouldn't do it. Not that he didn't end up totally wet from the water dripping off the eaves:

And, finally, aside from bears wearing diapers, I have also been finding the cutest little lines of cars all over the house:

I loved this! Oliver has YET to figure out how to climb out of his crib. I only wish that I could place a "lid" on his crib...which would make it a cage. :) GREAT pics. Thank you.

He is so cute! Benjamin still can't climb out of his crib and he's 2. He has tried and I tell him he's going to fall so that he's scared :) I'm such a nice mom.

It would have been fun to see how he got out of his crib - you should install a hidden camera! :) My nephew would make lines of cars, too! SO cute.

Oh Annie! I definitely tried videotaping his second nap yesterday...I ended up with 15 minutes of him reading his books, and 1 hour, 45 min. of him sleeping! Boring. I am going to figure out how he's doing this...
