Christmas 2008

I can't help but think that this was the best holiday season I've ever had. I suppose we earned it after the very difficult month of November.

My most favorite part of December was that Eric got 12 days off of work. I love having him around, and so does Amos. Maggie doesn't really notice =)

Eric's parents came for Christmas. It was the first time I got to experience Christmas with anyone besides my original family (the Hornes are my family too now), and I loved it. We had a great ham dinner on Christmas eve, and then a prime rib dinner on Christmas day. It was the best leftovers my fridge has ever seen. Present opening was the best. Amos is such a cool kid, and seeing him so thrilled over his new toys made me very happy. Nan and Pop were so generous, we're very lucky to have them!

Amos got so many great presents, I couldn't pick a favorite. The singing Elmo was a big hit though:

My favorite present Maggie got was this pink horse. It is so cute!:

I found this picture on Nan's camera, and I thought it was really funny. There's nothing like a baby ornament:

Santa even came to visit us:

We started the Christmas pajamas tradition this year, I know everyone does it, but I really like having new pajamas, so any excuse works for me. This year Amos and Maggie both got Christmas pajamas.

I love the picture of Amos looking at Elmo! Who doesn't love to sled?!? When are you letting Aunts Anna and Meg teach him to snowboard?
