Maggie's Great Adventure

Although Maggie had a very easy entry into this world, her life got a little more complicated when she was just a few hours old. To make a long story short, Maggie contracted group B strep (an infection) and had to be transferred to the NICU at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. There was one very awful day of worry, confusion and not knowing what was happening, but our amazing pediatrician figured it out very quickly. If everything goes well she'll be able to come home next Friday. We're learning more about the NICU than we ever wanted to know, but we're becoming so aware of how blessed and lucky we are. Every time we visit Maggie I am blown away by what a little angel she is, I can't wait for her to come home!

I am sorry to hear about that. I hope everything goes well. We will keep you in our prayers. The NICU is great though, she is in the best hands possible. They will get her better in no time. She is way cut!!!!
