Eric's "out"

Eric went with his friend Kyle (see drywalling hanging pictures) to see the Ryan Adams concert in Salt Lake tonight. Although I miss Eric very much, I am not regretting my choice, because frankly, I'd rather watch Bryan Adams.

Eric looooovvvvveeeeesssss Ryan Adams, and I hope he's having fun!

More basement

The main room in the basement is almost completely drywalled! (sorry about the weird spots on my lens...not sure what that is about)

We're not quite to the "after" yet, but please note how far we've come from the "before":

A new home for Sonic...

The buns LOVE to chew on on everything. They chew on the carpet, the walls, my purse (yeah, not good), the furniture, etc. So, I have been collecting things that its "ok" for them to chew on....to encourage good behavior. Cardboard goes over very well, particularly paper towel rolls and boxes. I put an old coke box in their cage thinking they would like to chew on it. Little did I know, Sonic would move in and make a house out of it. I should have guessed since this is the same bunny who chewed a hole in the bottom of the couch and made a house up inside of it. Pretty stinking cute.

Amos and Mommy are growing!

As much as I don't love this picture, these types of life events should be documented. Only 10.5 weeks to go!

Point Laura.

Tonight while Eric went fishing I stayed home and did a little basement finishing....I mud and taped almost the whole bathroom by myself. I didn't try to put myself in the picture, cause that's just weird.

Eric one-ups the rocking chair

I might have put together a rocking chair, but Eric and Kyle Hale put up the ceiling in our new bathroom this weekend. There was dust falling in Eric's eyes when I took this picture.

It still needs mud and tape, but the holes were all cut in the right places!

Carefully measuring for the recessed lighting and vents.

Our first "baby" present...

This week my first baby present arrived. An oh-so-comfy glider from the Hornes. Thanks Mom and Dad. Right now its in the living room because the nursery isn't ready. Its the new favorite chair in the house. I think Eric is confused about who it belongs to (the mommy). Being able to put my feet up makes all of the difference in the world. Bless the foot rest.

Please note my healthy salad and vitamin D enriched orange juice.

My future...

How could I not be excited to have a little boy that is going to look like this:

Eric goes shooting...

Eric and our friends, Brett and Derek, had a little boys trip shooting this week. They go to a dump in Payson. Classy! It was Derek's first time, so Eric and Brett were more than happy to introduce him to the world of firearms. Yay Second Amendment! Brett beat Eric in the shooting contest and won the title of "Best Shot." In case you're wondering why I didn't go, its because I had to stay home and clean.

Happy 4th of July!

I know, its the 5th of July already. Sadly, we have nothing to report from the 4th of July anyway. I had to work, so I was exhausted by fireworks time. I think I told about 6,000 people where the bathroom was, so I was feeling really patriotic. Eric had the day off, so he stayed home and worked on some projects (i.e. Simpsons and History Channel watching). We did go over to Sis. Wallin's and watched the "Stadium of Fire" fireworks from her porch (she has a way better view!).

Maybe next year we'll be more exciting. We didn't take any pictures this year, so here's one from last 4th of July when we actually paid to see the Stadium of Fire fireworks =)

Our family's latest additions...

Sonic came first, but anyone that knows him would say he wasn't really himself until he met his brother Roger. "Sonic" describes him perfectly. He is a funky little bunny who loves to play.
After Sonic, we thought our family was complete, but then we saw Roger. His sweet little face and floppy ears made him impossible to leave at the pet store. He loves to chew and get into trouble. His most favorite thing is to teach Sonic all of his bad habits.
