My name is Laura Horne and I love to blog. I use this blog as my journal, so I try my hardest to be real. Most of my free time is spent turning our house into a home, so I find myself drawn to interior design, decorating, and crafting.
I have a husband named Eric, who is awesome. He is very handy and builds me beautiful things. Our kids are obsessed with him, and rightly so, he is a great Dad. We were married in the Portland, Oregon LDS Temple in November 2005 and look forward to being together forever. We like to spend our time together on home improvement projects and playing with our kids. Eric is an occasional guest poster.
Our oldest child is Amos. He is named after his great-
grandfather, Amos Horne, III. Amos is a wild monkey who likes trucks, Elmo, Thomas the Train, shoe-shoes, doggies, and fruit snacks. He is full of energy and keeps us on our toes.
Maggie is our baby (for the time being). She is named after two of her great-grandmothers and her Aunt Meg (Shaver). Maggie is a sweetie who likes fruit loops, rice cereal, her brother, high places, blankies, and binks. Maggie is about as easy-going as babies come.
